Toledo

Nestled alongside the beautiful Cowlitz River and Highway 505, Toledo is a gateway to Mount St. Helens and the informative visitor centers. Traveling north on Jackson Highway, you can visit St. Francis Mission, the oldest Catholic mission in the Northwest, originally the Cowlitz Mission, founded in 1838. A little farther on is the Lewis and Clark State park with picniking and trails and views of old-growth timber.
