SeaTac

If you’re flying into Seattle, SeaTac will be the first city to meet you at the gate.  Incorporated in February 1990, the City of SeaTac is roughly 10 miles in area and is located conveniently between Seattle and Tacoma. 

Although known to many as the home for Seattle-Tacoma International airport, the 25,000 residents of SeaTac recognize that their community also features many wonderful attractions, such as Angle Lake and Highline Botanical Garden.  Angle Lake, which is shaped like the letter “L” is a local favorite during the warm summer months for swimming and boating.  Angle Lake Park is also home to the annual International Festival, which features live music, family entertainment and food provided by cultural groups from around the world. 

Highline Botanical Garden contains more than 10 acres of beautifully manicured display gardens, woodlands and trails situated on a reclaimed brownfield.  Open daily and free to the public, the garden makes a wonderful leisurely day trip.
